2. What data the app processes

Everything you enter in Kassio – expenses, budgets, subscriptions and fixed costs including cancellation deadlines, and your settings – is stored by the app only locally on your device (SwiftData). There is no account, no bank login, no Dom Realm server and no iCloud sync. I have no access to your entries.

3. Website icons for subscriptions (optional)

This is the only time Kassio goes online at all – and only when you trigger it: if you enter a website for a subscription, Kassio fetches that site’s icon directly from that website and stores it locally. No cookies and no personal data are sent. As with any visit to a website, that site technically receives your device’s IP address. It is a request to a third-party site you chose yourself, and that site’s privacy policy applies. If you don’t enter a website, no connection is made.

4. Face ID / passcode lock (optional)

The optional app lock uses Face ID or your device passcode. This is handled by iOS alone; the app only learns whether unlocking succeeded and never receives biometric data.

5. Notifications

Cancellation reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. There is no push server.

6. Widgets and Siri

Widgets and Siri only read the local data on your device.

7. CSV export

A CSV export is only created when you trigger it yourself. Where you save the file or who you share it with is up to you.

8. In-app purchases

Purchases in the app are handled through Apple’s App Store (StoreKit). No payment data reaches me; the app only learns what is unlocked. Apple’s Privacy Policy applies.

9. Crash reports

Kassio has no crash SDK. Apple only provides developers with crash and diagnostic reports if you allow this yourself in iOS Settings under “Analytics & Improvements” – these reports are anonymous.

10. Deletion

Deleting the app removes its local data from your device.

11. Your rights

Since I receive no personal data from the app, I hold no data about you. If you have questions, just write to me at [email protected]. Your rights under Art. 15–21 and 77 GDPR remain unaffected; the competent supervisory authority is Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg), Heilbronner Straße 35, 70191 Stuttgart; Kontakt und Beschwerden (contact and complaints).

12. Changes

If the app’s features change, I will update this policy. The date above shows the current version.
